Question:
(Heather) |
Hello Lady Raven HPs!
Greetings and Blessings (yet again) from Connecticut!
I would like to know more about Handfastings, and
how and where one can be performed. I was already married in the church,
but we both feel that something is missing...our handfasting. Can you perform
one for us? And what will it entail? |
Answer: (Lady Raven
HPs) |
Hello Heather!
Greetings and Blessings from Salem!
Handfastings are our form of weddings. It is done in ritual which you
should both be involved in creating. It is a Witches way of professing your
love for one another and making a sacred commitment before the Goddess and
God that you are joining together as one as husband and wife. It is very
common for Witches who have married within a church to feel that something
is missing as well as to want to also do the Traditional Handfasting. Yes
I could do this ritual for you, or you could contact a local Coven that perhaps
you know and request this from them. Either way, you must contact those that
you would like to perform the Handfasting for you, meet with them, and start
to plan for this blessed event. Remember, this is a very special event in
your life and you want to make it as special, personal and memorable as you
would like it to be. What ever you decide, I wish you all the Brightest Blessings
of the Ancient Ones and may your life together be filled with love, light
and abundance*** Until we meet again dear friend*** Blessed Be*** |

what is a tunic and do pagans wear them?and if
so how can you make them or were can you find them? |
Answer: (Lady Raven
HPs) |
A tunic is a form of dress which was worn in Greece. There may be some
Pagans that do wear tunics, but most Witches, Pagans and Wiccans wear robes
which are also called caftans. They can easily be made by one's self or you
may purchase them at some Witch Shops or through Mail Order. |

Question:
(Leslie) |
I feel as if a spell has been placed on me.
How am I to know and how can I rid myself or cleanse
myself? |
Answer: (Lady Raven
HPs) |
If there has been a spell placed upon you, there
would be specific signs that would be present and that one should be aware
of such as draining of energy, sudden unexplained illness as well as events
that are negative and after careful contemplation cannot be rationalized
or explained. As far as what one can do to prevent this, there are protection
shields and spells that can be done to prevent any form of negativity or
harm from happening to you. Cleansing can be done through visualization and
a banishing ritual in where one banishes all forms of negativity and harm
from one's life and environment. |

Question:
(Alexis) |
How do you become a fully developed
Witch? |
Answer: (Lady Raven
HPs) |
One becomes a fully develpoed Witch through
proper studies and training either Solitary or under the guidance of a Coven.
The actual development is one that is on going and continues through one's
life. We can never learn enough and have so much to learn from others. So
always, even after your inital training, keep an open mind as well as an
open heart in all that you do. |

Question:
(Mark) |
Are there any books on the creation stories of
the Pagans, or Druids, or the orgin of Witchcraft? |
Answer: (Lady Raven
HPs) |
There are many good books available that contain
the creation stories of our beginning. I would suggest the following to name
a few: Scott Cunningham's Living Wicca, SilverRavenWolf's To Ride
A Silver Broomstick as well as the many Mythology books pertaining to
your Deities, such as Celtic, that include the creations stories. You can
do a search at your local library for Witchcraft, Pagan, and Mythology
to find these stories as well. |
